Online Registration

To register, please visit http://www.conftool.net/icail2019/. If you have not previously created an account, select “Register new“.

If you are creating the account on behalf of someone else, use that person’s name and address on the registration form and, if desired, add your own contact information in the “personal assistant email” field.

Payment may be made by credit card, check, or from a PayPal account.  Any issues regarding the amount or method of payment may be noted in the field “remark of participant.”

Registration rates will vary according to the following schedule. Amounts are shown in Canadian dollars. The conference registration system runs on EDT: Eastern Daylight Time (North America) (GMT-4).

Full Conference or Partial Conference registration

Full registration includes attendance at all sessions including workshops and tutorials, lunch and coffee breaks each day, the conference reception (Monday) and banquet (Wednesday), and a copy of the proceedings (either printed or on a USB drive).

One-day or two-day registration includes attendance, with lunch and coffee breaks, on the specified day or days (given on the registration form), as well as the opening reception.

A partial registration includes the main conference proceedings only if the registration includes one of the main conference days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Discount for Full-Time Students

Full-time students are eligible to register at the reduced rates shown above. To qualify, please enter your university and your degree program in the space provided.  Documentation confirming your student status should be uploaded here or, if that is inconvenient, emailed to [email protected].

Monday and Friday Sessions

The Monday and Friday sessions include workshops, a tutorial, a competition, and a doctoral consortium:

For full descriptions, see the list of workshops and the doctoral consortium page. To facilitate planning, you will be asked to indicate which of these events you expect to attend. Dividing your time between overlapping events is fine.

If you will not be present on a given day, choose the box marked “none”.

Monday Reception

All registrants are invited to the opening reception, which will be held at the end of the afternoon sessions. The conference registration desk will be open during the reception.

Wednesday Conference Banquet

The conference banquet is included in the registration fee for those attending the full conference. Extra tickets, at CAD 100, may be purchased for guests and one-day or two-day registrants.

Extra Conference Proceedings

For those attending all or part of the main conference (Tuesday through Thursday), the registration fee includes one copy of the proceedings, either printed or on a USB drive. All attendees may order extra copies on the registration form.

An early order will help ensure that enough printed copies are produced.
